Bologna, July 24, 2026 – A pre-autopsy CT scan was performed on the body of Abderrahim Fakir, the 42-year-old who died in Bologna after a police intervention on Sunday in via Svevo, in the Pilastro neighborhood. A compromise of the respiratory tract would have emerged, as reported today by Il Messaggero, caused by the fact that the man would have remained crushed with his chest to the ground for five minutes.

The police officers’ lawyer: “We are waiting for the consultants”
“I know nothing and I’m waiting for the consultants to tell me, because among the various questions there was also the analysis of this trace,” says Gabriele Bordoni, lawyer for the officers involved, this morning leaving the Public Prosecutor’s Office after the meeting on the assignment of the autopsy, scheduled for this morning at Sant’Orsola hospital.
“We are waiting – continues the lawyer – for qualified people to provide answers. The CT scan was done yesterday. Is it a practice? When the opportunity arises, it is done. It is an element subject to the evaluations of the forensic doctors,” who were appointed today. “In the questions, we asked for everything that needs to be asked, the analysis of everything that can be useful for investigative purposes,” adds Bordoni.
Doubts about the medical emergency vehicle
The police officers who intervened on Abderrahim Fakir reportedly requested a medical emergency vehicle with a 118 doctor on board, but the Ausl denies it… “I imagine there are recordings that, beyond everything that is reported, will then provide evidence of the reality,” replied Bordoni.
