Rimini, August 7, 2026 – High tension evening in the heart of Riccione, where a man of about thirty years old allegedly caused chaos after attacking a group of underage boys. The incident occurred shortly after midnight in the area between Viale Milano, Piazzale Roma, and Viale Ceccarini, prompting the intervention of the carabinieri.

All started from an altercation
According to an initial reconstruction, everything started from an altercation between two men and some teenagers. The young people managed to get to safety, while one of the two adults continued to wander around the city center in an obvious state of deep psychophysical alteration.
From that moment the situation rapidly deteriorated. Some witnesses say they saw him trying to open the doors of parked or passing cars, climb onto the hoods of some vehicles, and even try to take a scooter. In a state of agitation, he then directed his anger against a Start Romagna line bus, repeatedly hitting it with his head until he caused himself several injuries.
Injured and assisted
The man, already covered in blood, was then assisted by medical personnel and transferred to the Bufalini hospital in Cesena for treatment.

The carabinieri intervened on the spot, restoring calm and starting investigations. From the first findings, no injuries among the minors emerged nor are there episodes related to the use of knives or other weapons. The injuries sustained by the thirty-year-old would instead be a consequence of his behavior during moments of strong agitation.
