Forlì, August 9, 2026 – They were separated by just a few kilometers of province. Now, what unites them is the night when Nicola Musiani was brutally beaten. Oussama Ragme, Conor Finn Long, Bilal Mahboubi, and Houssam Abir, all between 19 and 23 years old, are the four young men from the Forlì area arrested for the murder that took place on July 19 in Pinarella di Cervia in front of the King nightclub. A minor was also reportedly involved with them.

Oussama, Conor and Bilal
Ragme, 22 years old, lives in Meldola and has worked for several companies in the plastics and wood sectors. In the same town lives Conor Finn Long, 19 years old, son of a woman from Forlì and an Irishman, who played in the youth teams of the local football club. In Santa Sofia, few claim to know Bilal Mahboubi. The 23-year-old, born in Forlì, rarely frequented the town and often traveled to the provincial capital and the Riviera. In the past, he was reportedly subject to a period of mandatory check-ins at the police station. Houssam Abir, nicknamed ‘Usso’, is 22 years old and lives in Forlì. After attending a vocational school, in recent years he has held various jobs: he has worked as a carpenter and warehouse worker. The seventeen-year-old, whose position is now under investigation and who had played in a youth football team, also gravitated around the provincial capital.
The bar owner: “I imagined sooner or later someone would end up dead”
The owner of the Dozza bar in Meldola, frequented by Ragme, Finn Long, and Mahboubi, knows three of the four arrested. “I imagined sooner or later someone would end up dead – he notes –. They are troublemakers. Every time there is a party or event here, a group of young people, including them, provokes and it always ends in a fight, always over the most trivial reasons. These guys’ idea of fun is beating people up.”
Musiani and his alleged attackers did not know each other
According to the investigative reconstruction, Musiani and his alleged attackers did not know each other and had no prior contact. The beating reportedly broke out after an occasional argument, for reasons still unclear. Of that July 19, Said Ragme only knows his son’s version: “There was another group that had harassed the man before Oussama and his friends arrived. He told me that at some point four or five people showed up and that someone had a gun and a knife – he recounts –. At that point, they ran away.”
Attempted escape
The boy left for Morocco in the days following the murder. For the investigators, it was an attempt to flee, but the father clarifies: “It was a pre-planned vacation. We were about to leave soon as well. Now he is very shaken: he doesn’t eat or sleep. We are very sorry for Musiani’s death.”
