An episode recalled by the user, who wrote: “When you were arrested for possession of cocaine I was in prison too, I would like to know why someone like you would be released in a few days, did you have those who sold it to you arrested to save one day of prison?”, the user wrote, adding: “I would like you to answer me explaining why you acted like a scoundrel? Even if there is no excuse for these things, when you looked at yourself in the mirror didn’t you feel like a worm?”, the user added, professing himself still a “fan” of Blasco.

A public attack to which shortly after came the response directly from Vasco Rossi. “This story, besides being false, completely reverses reality,” the rockstar emphasized. “I did not have anyone arrested. Instead, I was denounced by a scoundrel who told the public prosecutor that he sold me 30 grams of cocaine (the investigation started in Marche, editor’s note). Based on those statements, arrest and search warrants were issued (this search took place in the province of Bologna, editor’s note) and I was taken directly to prison. I spent five days in total isolation,” Vasco Rossi recalls in his long response post, “and 22 days in total detention, before it was clarified that I had nothing to do with the drug dealer gang I was associated with. So no: I was not released early because I named or accused anyone to save myself from prison.” Rather, “the exact opposite happened: someone used my name and I ended up in jail.”

However, the clash did not stop on social media, as Vasco himself later clarified that the comment has already been “forwarded to my lawyers so they can proceed, as it is defamation as unfounded as it is slanderous. The money obtained from the compensation, not theirs (referring to a grammatical error in the user’s post attacking Vasco, editor’s note), I will leave to those who suffer unjustly in prison.” The lawyer Guido Magnisi has already been appointed for the aggravated defamation complaint. He will proceed to file the act in the competent offices in the coming days.
