Bologna, August 18, 2026 – The dispute between Vasco Rossi and one of his “fans” (or at least that’s how the user defined himself) that started on social media and is now rapidly heading towards legal action, could lead to a lawsuit not only for aggravated defamation.

Social profile in the crosshairs
At the moment, Vasco Rossi’s legal team, starting with trusted lawyer Guido Magnisi, is evaluating the profile that in recent days attacked the Komandante on Facebook, calling him “infamous” and recalling the 1984 arrest when Rossi ended up in jail because he was accused of dealing cocaine (an accusation later dropped). The rockstar from Zocca, now on vacation in Puglia, made public the quarrel he had on Facebook. An attack to which the rocker responded directly with a comment to clarify the matter, and then, in an Instagram story, announcing that he wants to put everything in the hands of lawyers for a “defamation as unfounded as it is slanderous.”
The man allegedly resorted to ‘computer disguise’
According to what emerges in the formulation of the complaint-lawsuit against the man who attacked Blasco, the user allegedly resorted to a so-called ‘computer disguise’: he would have used, according to initial hypotheses, name, surname, and profile photo that actually belong to a completely different person.
The possible charge of identity theft
This is why in addition to the charge of aggravated defamation against the person who commented against Vasco Rossi, the charge of identity theft could also be added.
A device used by the user to not be immediately recognizable, for which however no report has yet been filed with Meta.
