Ravenna, August 20, 2026 – Marina di Ravenna (and beyond) is buzzing with excitement for the presentation of the Ravenna Football Club and the arrival of the Brazilian champion Ronaldinho at his first meeting with the yellow-red fans scheduled for tonight. On the beach adjacent to the South Breakwater, behind the Marina square, a stage has been set up that will host not only the Serie C football team, but – on Friday and Saturday evenings – the Studio Delta Live on The Beach party with guests such as Orietta Berti, Elettra Lamborghini and the international star Sohie and the Giants.
“Honored by the arrival of the champion”
The president of the Marina di Ravenna proloco Marino Moroni still can’t believe it. “I never thought that a champion like Ronaldinho could come right here to Marina – he says –. We are honored and hope to be up to the event. It will be a great party. The presentation of Ravenna football on our beach and then the two evenings with Radio Studio Delta are the culmination of an important summer for Marina, where a first step has been taken to relaunch the town: from the return of the greased pole contest to the reopening of the lighthouse and the events started with the sea festival. We hope that the yellow-red appointment and the festival can become a regular event after Ferragosto.”
The arrival of Ronaldinho and the day’s program
The arrival of Ronaldinho is expected around lunchtime at Forlì airport, which from today becomes ‘Forlì-Ravenna’. In Marina di Ravenna, the opening of the area where the team presentation, youth sector, and management will take place is set for 5 p.m. At that time, the ‘food & beverage’ stands and the two corners with Ravenna Fc merchandise will also open. From 6 to 7 p.m. there will be a happy hour. The event will start at 8:30 p.m. and end shortly after 10 p.m. Estimates speak of 5-6 thousand attendees. ‘Dinho’ will stay in Romagna and tomorrow evening will be a guest at the Space in Riccione.
Traffic changes
From today until 3 a.m. Sunday, vehicle transit and parking will be prohibited, with removal, in the maritime state property area of Marina di Ravenna between the parking lot adjacent to the ‘Motosilurante 472’ and the areas west of the Mer Amor and Ulisse bathing establishments.
Parking
For those arriving by car, the recommended parking lots in Marina di Ravenna are the exchange parking lot on via Trieste (parking A) and the one on via del Marchesato (parking B), connected to the coast by the free Navetto Mare shuttle. On all three days, the service will be active until 4 a.m., with increased vehicles running between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. (eight buses, double the usual four: five 18-meter and three 12-meter buses).
Alternatively, in Porto Corsini the parking area between via Teseo Guerra, via Bisca Nerino, and via Terzo Sirotti is available.
The ferry
From Porto Corsini it is then possible to reach Marina di Ravenna by ferry. The ferry service will be enhanced for the three evenings. On the night between today and tomorrow, the service will be active non-stop. On the night between tomorrow and Saturday, the connection will be enhanced with a double ferry until 2 a.m.
On the night between Saturday and Sunday, the service will again be active non-stop.
To allow the best operation of the enhanced Navetto Mare service, the northbound priority lane, which affects viale della Pace from the Colonia roundabout and continues along viale delle Nazioni to viale Ciro Menotti, will exceptionally be active also on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 August, from 2 p.m. to midnight. Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August it will instead be active, as provided by the ordinary rules for pre-holiday and holiday days, from 9 a.m. to midnight.
Access to the sea is also prohibited in the water area between the South Breakwater ‘Zaccagnini’ and the Mer Amor bathing establishment, except for a length of about 300 meters from the shoreline.
