Pesaro, August 25, 2026 – A suspected war device has appeared in the sea in front of Baia Flaminia and a red zone is immediately activated: no swimming, diving, or boats within a radius of 150 meters. The Harbor Master’s Office has signed a maritime safety ordinance following the discovery made in the waters in front of the free beach of “Abbaia Flaminia”.
This is what the Municipality reports, explaining in a note that the maritime safety ordinance of the Harbor Master’s Office has “immediate effect.” “The ban concerns an area with a radius of 150 meters from the identified point – the note reads – and provides for the prohibition of navigating, anchoring, or staying with any unit, accessing, transiting, or remaining in the area, and carrying out activities related to the use of the sea, including swimming and diving.
Who is excluded from the bans and when the operational center meets
Excluded from the bans are the Coast Guard vehicles, police forces, and those engaged in public service activities for institutional and security needs.
In the early hours of tomorrow morning, the Municipal Operations Center will also fence off the affected area with barriers, making the ban even clearer and more visible from the beach. The measure was taken as a precaution to ensure people’s safety and will remain in effect until further notice. The Municipal Administration invites citizens, bathers, and visitors of the area to exercise maximum caution and cooperation, respecting the instructions and not approaching the area.”
