Rimini, August 28, 2026 – First the flames, then the arrival of the firefighters and the carabinieri. A hectic afternoon experienced in Poggio Torriana, where a 46-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly setting fire with LPG to the hedge of the neighboring house.

The intervention of the firefighters
The fire quickly spread along the fence separating two terraced houses, destroying part of it and dangerously approaching the cars left in the driveway. What prevented worse consequences was the intervention of the firefighters, who extinguished the blaze before it could reach the parked vehicles.
The arrival of the carabinieri
The carabinieri from Verucchio also intervened on the scene. An important element to reconstruct what happened was provided by the neighbors themselves: their security cameras allegedly captured the woman setting the fire.

The 46-year-old initially denied any involvement. Later, assisted by lawyer Piero Venturi, she explained her behavior with a single phrase: “I am exasperated.”
The woman, who reportedly has a history of complaints for threats, exploitation of incapacitated persons, animal killing, and personal injuries, was arrested in flagrante delicto by the officers.
