This, in brief, is what a 15-year-old girl from Forlì recounted: a story that triggered an investigation for sexual violence aggravated by the girl’s age, currently against unknown suspects.
The visit to Bufalini hospital triggered the report
Everything, according to what the young girl reported immediately during the subsequent visit to the ’Bufalini’ hospital in Cesena, happened around one o’clock at night between August 14 and 15: a moment, that, very intense for the local news so much that about 24 hours later near Piazza Napoli, also in Milano Marittima, a 44-year-old man of Albanian origin was reportedly stabbed four or five times by a 39-year-old Tunisian who was then arrested by the police for attempted murder aggravated by trivial motives.

Also in the case of the 15-year-old, the investigators – here the local Carabinieri Company coordinated by the on-duty prosecutor at the time of the events, Francesco Coco – will start by examining the surveillance cameras scattered around the area to identify the young man indicated by the girl. It is also possible that the 15-year-old will be re-interviewed by a psychologist specialized in minors. Certainly, the ’Bufalini’ hospital reports, whose notification triggered the investigation, will be included in the file.

The dramatic story told to her mother
According to what has emerged so far, the 15-year-old was convinced by the young man to go behind a venue, perhaps to talk. But at that point he demanded sexual intercourse. Once home, the girl spoke about it with her mother: the two then went to the hospital for the specific examination. Unless discarded or cleaned, the underwear could provide further useful details for identifying the young man. The same can be said about the 15-year-old’s account: perhaps with time to reflect, she could provide details that she was unable to frame immediately.
Once the suspect is possibly identified, there are essentially two formal paths to follow: if he is an adult, the file remains with the Ravenna prosecutor’s office; if a minor – a possibility not excluded – the jurisdiction will become that of the appropriate Bologna prosecutor’s office.
