Giuseppe Galasso, 29 years old, died Saturday early afternoon in his apartment in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The reasons for the death are still unclear. According to what has been possible to reconstruct so far, Galasso was in the living room chewing something when, suddenly, he felt unwell. Shortly after, he died in front of his wife. The woman immediately raised the alarm, and to the rescuers she reportedly said it was a drug-related crisis. But everything is still to be verified. And precisely to clarify the situation, the prosecutor’s office has opened a file (in the hands of prosecutor Domenico Ambrosino), the current hypothesis could be ‘death as a consequence of another crime.’ An autopsy has also been ordered, an examination intended to ascertain exactly what happened and what may have caused the young man’s cardiac arrest.
Meanwhile, on social media, many mourn him: “Rest in peace my friend,” writes a user expressing condolences to the family.

The family had experienced another terrible loss only five years ago. Five years ago, Giuseppe’s brother, Domenico, also passed away in the prime of his life. “There are no words for what happened – writes another friend of the young man who passed away Saturday afternoon –. But I want to think that you are happy now beside your brother. We will miss your mischief and you will be missed by your entire family.” The young man, who was unemployed at this time, is remembered as “good. That’s why everyone loved you.”
The wake will be set up tomorrow in the Pantheon of the Certosa cemetery in Bologna from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The funeral will then be at 3 PM in the church of SS. Andrea and Agata in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
