Rimini, September 13, 2026 – She fears having suffered a sexual assault after an evening spent in a nightclub in Rimini. But what really happened during those hours is still unclear and needs to be reconstructed. It is a delicate matter with still uncertain details that the State Police are working on after a 17-year-old German tourist was found by friends, at dawn on Saturday, in an obvious confused state inside a hotel room where she was with a 27-year-old Turkish man, also on vacation on the Riviera.

Checks at the hospital
The girl was taken to the hospital and subjected to the necessary medical examinations. She does not remember what happened after leaving the nightclub and this gap in memory is one of the aspects investigators will need to clarify. The young man reportedly denied having harmed her. He did not try to leave and was cooperative with the officers.
The incident began during the night. The 17-year-old went out with a group of friends to spend an evening at a venue in Rimini. During the evening she reportedly drank a lot and at the time of the intervention she was still heavily intoxicated.
The meeting in the nightclub
It was in the nightclub that she met the 27-year-old. The two started talking and, at some point, left the venue together. According to the reconstruction so far, it was the young man who suggested she join him at the hotel where he was staying. The girl followed him. Time passed and the friends noticed the 17-year-old was no longer with them. Initially, they searched inside the nightclub, thinking she might have simply moved to another area of the venue. However, there was no trace of her.
She no longer answers
They then try to text her on the phone. The messages go unanswered. They also start calling her, but initially the girl does not answer the calls either. It is only after several attempts that a response finally comes. The 17-year-old is on the phone, crying and very shaken. She tells her friends she is in a hotel room with the young man she met a few hours earlier in the nightclub.
Found in a confused state
At that point, the group tries to find out exactly where she is. The girl manages to communicate the name of the hotel and the friends rush to the place. When they reach the room, they find her in an obvious confused state. The 27-year-old is also in the room. The young woman, still very shaken, was reportedly unable to reconstruct what happened after leaving the nightclub. It was the friends, faced with the 17-year-old’s condition, who raised the alarm.
An ambulance and police patrols arrive on the scene. The girl is assisted and taken to the emergency room, where the examinations required in such cases are started. These include a gynecological examination, the results of which may provide useful elements to understand what happened inside the room. The 27-year-old reportedly claimed he did not commit any violence, denying having taken advantage of her condition. From the initial checks, he does not appear to have any previous records.
