Modena, August 1, 2026 – Today the teams from the Fire Brigade command from the stations of Frassinoro and Pievepelago intervened in the locality of Fontanaluccia, a hamlet of the municipality of Frassinoro in the upper Modenese Apennines, located on the right bank of the Dolo stream, to carry out the search and rescue of 6 boys belonging to a scout group who were missing.

To facilitate operations, the helicopter from the Bologna flight department was also activated.
The aircraft located the 6 missing persons within the wooded area and proceeded to recover them using the winch.
Subsequently, the recovered individuals were transported to the Romita football field, where the 118 emergency medical service personnel were waiting for them for medical checks.
None of the people involved sustained injuries.
