Alberto died after 45 days of agony

An impact, which occurred on July 2, forced him into a very long hospital stay, between Maggiore and Sant’Orsola, where he died after 45 days of agony due to health complications related to the accident. The boy, resident in Castagnolo (San Giovanni Persiceto), did not make it and passed away the day before yesterday. The fifty-nine-year-old driver who hit him could now face charges of vehicular manslaughter. It will be the Prosecutor’s Office, to which the local police who intervened at the crash site have already delivered the relevant documentation, that will outline the details of this tragedy.

The dream of studying Engineering

From this heartbreaking story remains the pain for the loss of a young life cut short in the prime of youth. Cremonini had attended the Scientific track at the institute on Viale Pepoli, sitting among the desks of class 5E. With his classmates, he had taken the final exam, the high school final. First the written tests and then the oral. July 2 was the final day of the exam, which Cremonini had approached with his mind already on university. In fact, the nineteen-year-old had recently taken the admission test to enter Engineering.

The accident

After appearing before the commission on July 2, he took the oral exam. And shortly after, the tragedy happened: Alberto was walking along Viale Pepoli heading to the bus stop. To reach it, he crossed the pedestrian crossing from Via Sant’Isaia towards Via Andrea Costa. A few seconds’ passage that irreparably shattered his life. A small car, traveling along Viale Vicini towards Porta Saragozza, hit him while the boy was reaching the other side of the road. Immediately, no urgent tests were carried out for blood alcohol level or presence of drugs. The accident investigation and subsequent checks were handled by the Local Accident Unit personnel.

The worsening of conditions

The young man was immediately transferred in medium severity code to Maggiore, where he arrived by emergency medical vehicle, conscious and alert. For this reason, no one could have imagined this terrible outcome. After a few days of hospitalization, however, his condition worsened severely. Hence the transfer to Sant’Orsola, where he spent many days in intensive care. Until Sunday, when the boy died.

The passion for the guitar

Leaving a huge void in his family, to whom the mayor of San Giovanni in Persiceto, Lorenzo Pellegatti, (the nineteen-year-old was an only child, as reported) and his friends are close. Friends with whom he shared a visceral passion for music. Alberto, in fact, played the guitar and was part of the band ’Rebirth’, with which he performed live concerts. In the photos, in fact, the nineteen-year-old always has the guitar in his hands. On the ’Villaggio Musicale’ platform, Alberto left this biography: “I am Alberto and I have been playing the guitar for years now, my skills are medium-high and I like to try new approaches to the instrument.” Who knows if he will ever part from that instrument now.
