Ascoli Piceno, August 18, 2026 – A violent brawl broke out this afternoon, Tuesday, August 18, in the heart of Ascoli. A man, of foreign nationality, was attacked by several people outside a bar on via Trieste (video). According to initial reports, the man – probably intoxicated – began to bother the patrons of the establishment, causing tensions that within minutes escalated into a particularly harsh physical confrontation.

Scared customers and passersby
Kicks, punches, and shoves took place in front of passersby and customers seated at tables, some of whom watched the scene visibly frightened by the screams. The brawl lasted a few moments, but with such violence that several people immediately raised the alarm.
The rescue
A man remained on the ground in the street for several minutes. An ambulance from the 118 emergency service arrived on the scene, providing first aid to the injured man, and a patrol of the police, now engaged in precisely reconstructing the events.
