Pesaro, July 14, 2026 – Mor Kaire Seck did not make it, the 14-year-old boy rescued Wednesday afternoon on the stretch of free beach between the Bibi and I Gelsi baths. After days of hospitalization in the Intensive Care Unit of the San Salvatore hospital, his heart stopped beating this morning. His condition had appeared desperate from the first moments after being recovered from the sea.

Mor Kaire Seck, an Italian citizen of Senegalese origin, would have turned 15 in September and lived with his large family in Tavullia, his father Khadim Seck and mother Mane Mboup and his siblings. Last Wednesday he was on the beach with a peer. At some point, the friend no longer saw him and started looking for him, asking for help.
After the alarm, he was located and recovered from the sea unconscious
Soon after, the boy was located in the sea, unconscious and with his face immersed in the water. According to some witnesses, he was beyond the line of white buoys, several meters from the shore. The lifeguards of the nearby establishments immediately intervened, reaching him and bringing him ashore. Resuscitation maneuvers began on the beach.

Despite the doctors’ efforts, however, the clinical picture remained very serious until his death this morning.
