Sasso Marconi (Bologna), September 6, 2026 – As soon as you step inside Fattoria Zivieri, a mosaic of photographs retraces the long history of this establishment in about twenty shots, starting from black and white images and then arriving at the vivid colors of the most recent achievements. Just a little further on, the glasses are raised to the sky for a toast, while among the stands on the lawn some enjoy the gastronomic excellences of the territory.

On that green carpet, nestled among the hills of Sasso Marconi, about five hundred people gathered today to celebrate the sixteenth edition of “Chef al massimo,” the event created to preserve the memory of Massimo Zivieri, who passed away in 2009. A moment of reunion “that reminds us how the good done to others during one’s life always remains in the heart of those who stay – recalls the owner Aldo Zivieri – and that continues today in the spirit of sharing, to thank those who continue to believe in this project.”

Aldo Zivieri: “The restaurant in the historic center? It gives us great satisfaction, we are in the Michelin guide”

Just a year ago, on the same occasion, the details of the new Zivieri-branded restaurant were revealed to the guests, then inaugurated last December in the heart of the historic center. “The first assessment? We are satisfied – continues Zivieri – especially because we managed to create a cohesive work group and this is never taken for granted. Moreover, we have already received a mention from the Michelin Guide and this recognition has allowed us to be known to a public of foreign tourists very attentive to food and wine.”

The event – organized for the members of the Zivieri club – involved many well-known Bolognese and other important realities, chefs and wineries, but it was also an opportunity to celebrate young talents with the awarding of the Massimo Zivieri prize, organized by Ascom and Emil Banca, dedicated to entrepreneurs under 40.

“Looking to the future with an innovative spirit to face new challenges is fundamental – emphasized Giancarlo Tonelli, director of Confcommercio Ascom Bologna – to continuously improve and be protagonists.” Along the same lines, president Enrico Postacchini: “Today we award two new realities, but there have been many celebrated over the years, always in the name of innovation.”

The prize, which includes a check for one thousand euros, was also presented by the president of Emil Banca, Gian Luca Galletti: “An important moment that reminds our young people how it is possible to do business with passion, focusing on innovative visions and maintaining a strong bond with the territory and the people.”
