Fermo, September 7, 2026 – The kitchen can wait. Benedetta Rossi has chosen to slow down her professional pace to dedicate herself to the two daughters who have just entered her life, Natacha and Sharlyn. The decision comes after returning to Italy from Costa Rica, where the food blogger and her husband Marco Gentili completed the process that led them to adopt the two girls, aged 10 and 9 respectively. The new family is adjusting to a completely different daily routine. And Rossi has decided to share some aspects of it with her followers, explaining why at this stage she prefers to focus her time on her daughters.

The break: “They need their mom and dad”
We are not talking about a goodbye, but a break related to the needs of the family, at a time that for the girls means facing a long series of new experiences. “We are trying to reorganize ourselves to return to a sort of normality, very different from before,” Rossi explained. Managing the days requires more energy, but for her it is a commitment faced with enthusiasm.
The choice is mainly driven by the desire to accompany Natacha and Sharlyn in their first experiences in their new family life. “I will return to work, but right now I want to be with them,” she said. “They have a thousand first times, so I want to accompany them in doing many things.” Then a phrase that clarifies her priorities: “They need their mom and dad”.
A new daily life: “We are very happy”
The house has become the place where everyone is learning a new role. Benedetta and Marco are parents, the two girls are discovering a family reality different from what they knew before. The transition, Rossi says, brings emotions but also a certain amount of fatigue. The two little sisters indeed have an energy that tests the new parents. “They are two, tireless, like children their age,” said the food blogger, humorously describing the girls’ liveliness.
The balance, however, remains clearly positive. The days are full of conversations, discoveries, and shared moments. “We have fun together, we feel good, we talk a lot. We are very happy,” Rossi said.
A wish come true
Benedetta Rossi and Marco Gentili, married since 2009, had publicly spoken in recent years about their desire to become parents. In an interview with Verissimo, Gentili had said that children had not arrived as the couple had imagined, explaining that they had nevertheless continued their life path without turning that missed experience into a regret. Then a possibility remained open. Last July the couple announced their departure for Costa Rica, heading towards meeting the two girls who would become part of the family.
At the end of August Rossi showed Natacha and Sharlyn for the first time, introducing them with few words and great emotion. Returning home opened an even more delicate phase: that of integration into daily life. Now comes the choice to slow down. Not a break announced with precise deadlines, nor a renunciation of work. Rossi is simply giving space to a change that, for her family, has just begun to take shape.
