Jesi (Ancona), September 7, 2026 – Serious accident at work this morning inside the Trevalli Cooperlat plant on via Piandelmedico in Jesi. A thirty-five-year-old technician from an external company was seriously injured after suddenly falling into the void while performing maintenance work on the roof of the production facility at the rear of the plant.
The worker was urgently transported by air ambulance to the Torrette hospital in Ancona, where he remains hospitalized in critical condition with a particularly serious clinical picture.
A skylight reportedly broke
The incident occurred mid-morning today. According to initial reconstructions by the authorities who arrived on the scene, the worker was at height to check the functionality of the technological equipment on the roof of the warehouse. During the operations, a skylight suddenly gave way under his weight, causing a disastrous fall from a height of several meters before the violent impact on the ground.

Critical situation from the start
Once the emergency was triggered on the single number, the rescue system mobilized with maximum promptness. The 118 medical team, arriving on site together with the Red Cross and the Icaro air rescue, provided first aid to the young man who, although remaining alert upon the rescuers’ arrival, showed serious injuries and multiple traumas. Given the critical situation, immediate transfer by air to the Doric facility was arranged.

Regarding the incident, the company management issued an official statement: “Trevalli Cooperlat confirms that this morning, at the Jesi plant, an accident occurred involving a technician from an external company during an intervention on the ventilation system on the plant’s roof. Promptly assisted and transported to the hospital by air rescue, the man was alert and conscious upon the rescuers’ arrival.
