Osimo (Ancona), September 9, 2026 – It was a gesture of love in memory of the son who passed away following a tragic road accident. Federica and Roberto Borsini, the parents of Pietro, who died at only 19 years old 3 months ago after a terrible crash at Aspio, wanted to donate the fundraising dedicated to their son to the Asd San Biagio Calcio, the football club that had raised and registered the young Osimo footballer.

Mom Federica: “From up there he will be happy and cheer for the ‘Galletti’”
Mom Federica’s words during the meeting the day before yesterday with managers, coaches, and players at the sports field in the San Biagio district of Osimo were chilling. “The days go by, the pain increases, his absence sometimes makes us stop breathing. We move forward but nothing is the same as before – began mom Federica with a broken voice -. We wanted to meet you to hand over the funds raised for Pietro. This gesture of ours comes from Pietro’s passion for football, from the passion he had for your sports club where he felt at home.”

“You all know very well who Pietro was. On the field he never reacted, in fact he was the first person to lend a hand and he was happy when we came to watch the games and took photos. Pietro had a love for football, started at five years old and never gave up. A few days ago I was at the cemetery and I heard the sound of the ball bouncing on the football field. I asked him: “Pietro, you’re training with them, right?” Well, with this small donation we are sure that from up there he will be happy and will cheer for his “galletti”.”
