Pesaro, September 17, 2026 – He showed up at the San Salvatore hospital covered in blood and, once in front of the staff, he fell to the ground. Moments of great agitation shortly after 1 p.m. today in Pesaro, when a foreign boy of about 20 years old arrived in the Cup area of piazzale Cinelli along with two other people.
The young man had wounds which, according to the very first information, could be compatible with two stab wounds. He was immediately assisted and transferred to the emergency room of San Salvatore, where he was taken care of by the medical staff.

At the moment it is not known what happened in the preceding minutes. The hypothesis is that the twenty-year-old may have been injured during a fight that took place shortly before in the area of the train station, then reached the hospital together with the other two peers.
Police officers from the mobile squad and the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters intervened on the spot. Investigators are trying to reconstruct the dynamics of the event, identify the place where the young man was injured and clarify who the people involved were. The position of the two boys who accompanied him to the hospital is also under review.
Biancani and Mengucci: “Very serious and unacceptable act”
“We strongly condemn what happened today in the Cappuccini underpass, just steps from the Station. It is a very serious and unacceptable episode, on which we hope full clarity will be made as soon as possible.” Thus the mayor of Pesaro Andrea Biancani and the Security Councillor Sara Mengucci intervene regarding the attack that took place in the early afternoon, in which a young man was seriously injured.

“The Municipality immediately activated to collaborate with the Law Enforcement and provide all possible support to the investigations – explain Biancani and Mengucci –. The area is covered by the municipal video surveillance system: there are about ten cameras, six inside the underpass and four at the exits. We asked the local Police to immediately proceed with the viewing of the footage and all potentially useful recordings will be made available to the Law Enforcement engaged in the investigations.”
The mayor and councillor finally emphasize that “episodes of violence of this nature cannot find any justification, they are intolerable. At this time it is essential to let the investigators work, who will have to precisely reconstruct the dynamics and identify the responsibilities. From the Municipal Administration there is maximum cooperation and attention. We thank the Law Enforcement for the prompt intervention and for the work they are doing».
