Pesaro, August 11, 2026 – The 56-year-old motorcyclist, originally from the province of Ancona, is in desperate condition after being involved in a serious accident on the Apecchiese road, near the Pisciolini hamlet, just before entering the town.

The alarm was raised around 11:30. According to initial reconstructions, still under review by the Local Police who intervened on site for investigations, the motorcyclist was traveling with a group of friends to spend a few days of vacation in the Apecchiese area.
The tragedy on vacation, the motorcyclist possibly struck by a sudden illness
After overtaking a car, during the phase of returning to his lane, the man suddenly lost control of the motorcycle, crashing heavily onto the asphalt, possibly due to a sudden illness.
The rescue: the friend, the 118 emergency service, the air ambulance
The very first aid was given by a travel companion who, not seeing him anymore in the rearview mirrors, turned back and found his friend on the ground unconscious.
Thanks to the knowledge gained in specific first aid courses, the friend promptly performed cardiac massage while waiting for advanced rescue.
Volunteers from Apecchio Soccorso, the 118 emergency medical vehicle from Urbania, and the air ambulance, which landed in the nearby sports field, then arrived on the scene.
After a complex stabilization phase on site, the 56-year-old was transported by helicopter and urgently transferred in red code to the regional hospital of Torrette di Ancona. His condition remains very serious.
