Venice, September 13, 2026 – The police have already identified almost all the influencers who yesterday afternoon attacked a group of Avs activists and the Morion social center in Campo San Bortolo in Venice.
It is likely that administrative and criminal measures will soon be taken by the Police Headquarters, starting with urban Daspo and expulsion orders. The most appropriate measures are under study.
For the complaints, it is awaited to understand if the assaulted persons will also proceed, of whom 6 were treated in hospital with bruises and a prognosis of several days.
At the moment, Police and Digos are studying the images from city cameras to exactly reconstruct the route covered by the 32-year-old of Nigerian origin Ambrose Omo Irogho, known as “JollyTime“, together with various YouTubers including the Dutch Tom van den Heuvel, “Dutch Travel Maniac”.

The accusation of the assault
The Venice case, after that of Bologna, broke out yesterday. The same anti-degradation influencers sympathizing with right-wing parties, who were expelled on Thursday in Bolognina, allegedly attacked 6 Avs militants who ended up in hospital. Among them is also Municipality councilor Giovanni Fassioli.
But what happened?
The violence began when a group of Avs militants noticed Omo and the other web personalities. Thus began a verbal attack by the protesters who labeled the influencers, very close to the right, as “fascists”. Suddenly, the Dutch Tom Van den Heuvel approached the group and pointed at a boy, leading to a face-to-face confrontation. From there, amid shouts and chants, the beating started: in the images released online, the foreign influencers are seen punching, kicking, and pushing the activists. Someone also sprayed pepper spray. In the videos and photos released, Omo is not seen taking part in the assault, which took place in the Campo San Bortolomio area, in Rialto.
