Bologna, August 16, 2026 – An 85-year-old Albanian passenger who was flying from Tirana to Bologna on a Ryanair flight scheduled to arrive shortly after midnight died around 1 a.m. tonight at Marconi Airport in Bologna after landing.

The man, who reportedly had pre-existing health problems and special assistance arranged, suffered a cardiocirculatory arrest during the normal phases of landing and, once the plane stopped at the stand assigned to him within the ‘Marconi’ area, the assistance staff alarm was triggered.

The rescue: there was nothing more to be done for the man
