It happened this morning when the man, who was collecting irrigation hoses, got caught in the machinery he was using, hitting his head.

The alarm and the rush of emergency services

The alarm was raised immediately and paramedics from 118 intervened on site but there was nothing to be done for the man. Also on site were the carabinieri and the operational unit for prevention and workplace safety of the Ausl. The investigations, carried out this morning, will ascertain the exact dynamics of the tragic work accident and any responsibilities.
