Pesaro, August 14, 2026 – The plot is about three roommates living in Marseille, during a scorching summer not unlike this one: one is a cam girl (an entertainer who streams live videos), another spies on an exhibitionist neighbor, and the third is an actress in crisis. In short, one can at least expect that the content of certain scenes in the film “Women on the Balcony“, shown Wednesday at Rocca Costanza for the Open-Air Cinema series, might slip into the risqué.

Bitter surprise for the mothers
But certainly some mothers from Pesaro, who were out with their eight-year-old daughters or slightly older, did not expect to see certain sequences the other evening while walking near Rocca Costanza, outside the perimeter of the series. Outside, but still able to see everything, absolutely everything, from the public street.
“Absolutely explicit scenes, at half past nine in the evening”
“We hadn’t gone to see the film – says Federica, a mother – but even though the screen is in the moat, the images can be seen from outside as well, and they were absolutely explicit scenes, at half past nine in the evening, in the presence of children playing in the park who came to tell us everything. I would like to know how it was possible not to foresee what happened, and above all not to have taken this into account when choosing the programming. This administration is overly attentive in setting hours and decibel limits for parties in venues… And then it doesn’t worry about completely inappropriate scenes visible to everyone, in the open air?”
