Valles (Bolzano), July 13, 2026 – With 15 minutes early, Bologna of Domenico Tedesco took its place again among the mountains of the Puster Valley, ready to raise the curtain on this new season, after the first test rounds at Casteldebole. It was 17:45 when the two buses full of players and good intentions reached the Valserhof hotel in Valles, in this corner of South Tyrol that for four years now has hosted the summer training camp of the rossoblù. About thirty fans were waiting for Domenico Tedesco’s rossoblù, although they had to settle for greeting their favorites from behind the security barriers. The most acclaimed was obviously Riccardo Orsolini, at the center of a long soap opera about his future.

Much affection, needless to say, also for Lorenzo De Silvestri, as well as much pampering for Jonathan Rowe and Santiago Castro, the true objects of desire for many clubs in Europe. There will be no Europe, however, in this Bologna season, which here in Valles had celebrated in past seasons a qualification for the Champions League and a Coppa Italia: but the enthusiasm around the team is always very high. As is the strong curiosity to see the new coach in action. From tomorrow the first training session begins, while on Saturday the first of three friendlies scheduled here under Mount Jochtal will take place: Arminia Bielefeld, a German second division team, will arrive.
