The intervention of the carabinieri in via Emilia Centro
The incident dates back to August 27, when the Radiomobile carabinieri intervened following a report in via Emilia Centro. Here, in fact, they caught the suspect while stealing two caps in a clothing store, after breaking the window with a heavy cast iron manhole cover, uprooted from its natural seat.

The assault on the paramedics and the bite to the ambulance driver
Here, inside the medical premises in the ‘green room two’, the suspect tried to overturn the carts containing medical material using a rigid spinal board as a blunt object and then, indeed, attack the paramedics. Specifically, the man bit the ambulance driver on the chest, causing an obvious bruise, then hit a nurse several times, as also confirmed by the analysis of footage recorded by the surveillance systems. Through a joint intervention with the Coopservice guards, the officers restrained the man on the stretcher, until subsequent pharmacological containment and admission to the Psychiatry ward. Yesterday the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Modena Court validated the arrest.
