Bologna, September 10, 2026 – In 7 years, Francesco Guccini, who passed away last August 6 at 86 years old, rewrote his will. And the differences are profound between the public will signed on December 17, 2015 before notary Lorenzo Luca and the one signed on January 19, 2022 before notary Luigi Stame.
In the first document, the daughter Teresa received a detailed package of assets: 100% of the shares of Limentra Srl and Edizioni Musicali L’Alternativa Srl, properties in Bologna (not the house on via Paolo Fabbri), 50% of the liquidity and financial investments, and half of the economic proceeds from copyright royalties. The wife Raffaella Zuccari, named universal heir, was entitled to everything not expressly attributed to the daughter.
The testator Guccini “had foreseen that the musical part would be more the daughter’s responsibility, while the literary part to the spouse – explained notary Luca –. He had also foreseen that decisions regarding the management of his works would always be shared.” In 2022, however, he opts for management, exploitation, and administration of rights deriving from artistic activity to belong exclusively to Zuccari.
The request for collaboration between Zuccari and the daughter
The will for collaboration between the second wife and the daughter explicitly appears in the 2015 will: “My hope is that you will be able to collaborate usefully for the joint management of my artistic rights,” Guccini wrote. In case of disagreement or disputes over management and accounting, the singer-songwriter had also foreseen the possibility of relying on a third party appointed, upon request of one of the parties, by the president of the Bologna Court.
However, in 2022 the framework changes
In 2022 the framework changes. Guccini names the wife “universal heir of all assets.” The daughter is left, “in substitution of the legitimate portion,” all the shares of Limentra Srl and 50% of the economic copyright rights related to the activity of singer-songwriter and writer, as well as the Trameluc guitars, a Leonardo da Vinci watch, and a gold ring with the initials “F” and “G”.

The division of half of the proceeds from artistic activity remains, but in the 2022 will Guccini establishes that management, exploitation, and administration of rights belong exclusively to the universal heir, without prejudice to 50% of the proceeds destined to the daughter.
The last wishes of the Maestrone
These are the last wishes of the Maestrone, who passed away on August 6 at 86 years old in Pavana, in the Apennines on the border between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, expressed in the will drawn up just over four years ago in the presence of two witnesses in the office of notary Luigi Stame. A public document that was opened and registered Tuesday, September 8 in the presence, instead, of the two most important women in the Maestro’s life: Raffaella and Teresa. Before them, contained in 4 typewritten pages except for a handful of lines for Teresa handwritten by the notary, the entire Guccini estate, an empire estimated between 6 and 10 million euros.

The house on via Paolo Fabbri
The house at via Paolo Fabbri 43, which from the day of the writer’s passing and the following days became the site of a pilgrimage of fans and enthusiasts who animated the Cirenaica area with songs and chants, therefore ended up in the hands of Raffaella.

Which, among other things, she still has as her residence.
