Numana, July 29, 2026 – After Sirolo, the Numana City Council has also issued an ordinance aimed at strengthening the protection of urban decorum and the image of the town, valid until September 30. The measure stems from the desire to preserve the decorum of the territory, especially during periods of high tourist influx, when there is a significant increase in the presence of residents and visitors in the town center. In particular, it is forbidden to circulate or stay in swimwear, bare-chested or without footwear both inside commercial establishments located in the historic center and on board the summer tourist transport vehicles. It is also forbidden to lie down, sleep or loiter in streets, squares, and other public places. Sirolo paved the way
Also in Sirolo, indeed, until September 30, the ban has already been in place for a few weeks on circulating and staying in swimwear, bare-chested, and without footwear in the streets and squares within the historic center walls, bounded by Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Via Grilli, and Piazza Franco Enriquez, in the streets leading to the beaches, in the town center bounded by Via Sant’Antonio, Sanzio, Piave, Giulietti, Grilli, San Francesco, and Peschiera, in public parks, inside local public transport vehicles, and in commercial establishments.
