Bologna, August 25, 2026 – Great fear last night in Castel Maggiore in the province of Bologna, where firefighters intervened around 11 PM for a fire that broke out in a basement. A total of 9 people were evacuated: seven adults and two children.

Firefighters intervened in a building of four floors on Via Roma, with eight teams, an aerial ladder, a cylinder truck, and a tanker. Residents were precautiously evacuated and nine people were taken care of by emergency medical services. The carabinieri were also present.
