Modena, August 26, 2026 – Serious accident this afternoon in Modena, not far from the historic center. The crash occurred between viale Italia and via Corassori in Modena, not far from the Enzo Ferrari park. A fire truck and a BMW were involved.
The collision, the dynamics of which are under investigation, occurred at the intersection. Presumably, the vehicle had just left the barracks and had its sirens blaring for a rescue operation, but then the accident happened.
The toll is one firefighter in serious condition. He was immediately rescued by colleagues and 118 (emergency services) and taken to the hospital.
