Today the day will be characterized by stable and sunny weather throughout Emilia-Romagna. In fact, there will be few municipalities where it will be cloudy. Some, in the afternoon hours, will see some clouds, especially in inland areas and reliefs. “Normal” maximum temperatures around 30 degrees on the Riviera. Here the climate, in fact, will be milder compared to the areas of the Po Valley and Bologna, where it will rise to 33-34 degrees during the day. Winds will be light, predominantly from the northern quadrants or as a breeze along the coasts, without particular reinforcements. The sea will remain slightly choppy, with favorable conditions for beach activities and recreational navigation.
Tuesday is the calm before the heatwave
On Tuesday, high pressure will continue to ensure stable atmospheric conditions, with skies mostly clear or at most veiled by the passage of high and thin clouds. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 20 and 23 degrees while maximums will remain almost stationary, between 32 and 34 degrees, with slightly lower values along the coast thanks to the mitigating action of the sea. Winds will still be light and predominantly in a breeze regime, while the sea will continue to be slightly choppy.
Starting from Wednesday, a progressive strengthening of the subtropical high pressure is expected, which will favor a further increase in temperatures. The heat will gradually become more intense and widespread, with maximums that could reach 37 between **Wednesday and Thursday**, up to 40 degrees in the Plain on Friday 31, especially in inland areas and areas far from the coast. During this period, **experts** recommend limiting sun exposure during the hottest hours, staying adequately hydrated, and paying particular attention to the most vulnerable people, such as the elderly, children, and individuals with chronic pathologies, who may be more affected by the heatwave expected towards the end of the week.
