Sant’Elpidio a Mare, August 21, 2026 – A real cyclone struck exclusively Casette d’Ete destroying the roof covering of a small building which took flight, then damaging another house and some cars.
Those were minutes of terror experienced by the residents of via Confalonieri and via Cairoli this afternoon shortly after 4 PM, when the Elpidian district was hit by a severe weather disturbance.
The greatest damage was caused by the very strong wind that literally blew off the roof covering of a small building located on via Confalonieri, swept away until it hit the roof of another house, damaging it, then falling onto the street, entering a nearby house and crushing five parked cars.

Fortunately, there were no injuries, as there was no one inside the two buildings and the cars affected. Firefighters from the Fermo Provincial Command and the Civil Protection team immediately intervened on site.
