Riccione, August 11, 2026 – Bank robbery today, Tuesday, August 11, in the heart of Riccione. Shortly after 1:30 PM, three men disguised as painters and with their faces covered by balaclavas entered the Bper branch on Viale Dante, when the bank was already closed to the public.
The ‘painter’ robbers forced the back window
The robbers reportedly forced a window at the back, surprising the employees still present. Without showing weapons, they forced them to remain still and immobilized with zip ties, then took the money present in the cash registers. Immediately after, the gang fled.

Loot still to be quantified
The loot is still to be quantified, but it would amount to several thousand euros. The presence of an accomplice outside is not excluded, ready to facilitate the escape.
