Bologna, July 30, 2026 – Fatal accident on the A14 in the afternoon: a tourist, a Swiss citizen, lost his life while riding his motorcycle. The 63-year-old man crashed at kilometer 13, near the Arcoveggio area, while heading towards Ancona.
The dynamics of the accident are under investigation by the Highway Police, who intervened on the scene for the usual surveys. The race of the medical personnel, however, was in vain: the operators aboard an emergency medical vehicle and an ambulance could only confirm the death of the traveler.
The officers are reconstructing the dynamics of what happened, but from the first reconstructions it seems that the motorcyclist crashed into a car. An impact so violent that it threw him into the air, then causing him to fall onto the asphalt. It will be up to the police officers to reconstruct what really happened.
