Bologna, September 9, 2026 – All inheritances come to a head. And Francesco Guccini, on January 19, 2022, handed them over to his wife Raffaella Zuccari. She is the woman the singer-songwriter married in 2011 in Mondolfo and chose to have by his side until his passing, the universal heir of “all my assets.”

That is also the much-coveted house on via Paolo Fabbri 43, in Bologna, where Guccini had and Zuccari still has residence. A magical place that Teresa, the only daughter of the contemporary poet, had long desired and where she lived until adolescence. But, just like the Pavana residence, it was entrusted to Raffaella. Teresa, born in 1978 from the love story with Angela Signorini, receives the shares in the company ’Limentra Srl’, 50% of the economic copyright rights, and some objects of strong sentimental value.
The Maestro’s last wishes
These are the last wishes of the Maestro, who passed away on August 6 at 86 years old in Pavana, in the Apennines on the border between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, expressed in the will drawn up just over four years ago in the presence of two witnesses in the office of notary Luigi Stame. A public document that was opened and registered on Tuesday in the presence, instead, of the two most important women in the Maestro’s life: Raffaella and Teresa. Before them, contained in four typewritten pages except for a few lines for Teresa handwritten by the notary, is Guccini’s entire estate, an empire estimated between six and ten million euros.
Raffaella appointed universal heir
Raffaella, Guccini’s second wife who had previously been civilly partnered with Roberta Baccilieri, was appointed universal heir. Teresa receives 50% of the copyright for Guccini’s professional activities as a singer-songwriter and writer. The remaining half goes to Raffaella. As the universal heir, “she will exclusively handle all aspects related to the management, exploitation, and administration of the rights deriving from my artistic activity,” Guccini outlined in 2022. Specifying that “50% of all proceeds from my artistic activity must be allocated” to daughter Teresa Guccini, who “may also take steps to receive directly from various entities and subjects her rightful 50% share.”

It annuls the previous will, drawn up in 2015 with notary Lorenzo Luca. It was Luca himself who, on Tuesday, opened the 2015 text in the presence of Teresa Guccini, thus revealing her father’s penultimate wishes. “But my will was revoked by a more recent one,” the notary Luca had said referring to the one filed by colleague Stame. “My will, in fact, was not published.” And indeed the last wishes are contained in the 2022 will, registered by Stame.
The cult place
The house on via Paolo Fabbri 43, which from the day of the writer’s passing and the days following became the site of a pilgrimage of fans and enthusiasts who animated the Cirenaica area with songs and choruses, has therefore ended up in Raffaella’s hands. She still has residence in that house, among other things. A wish for the Maestro’s daughter, Teresa, who apparently had long dreamed of having it for herself, perhaps with the idea of turning it into a house-museum. What will become of the via Paolo Fabbri 43 residence is still unknown. Raffaella, as she has done since her husband’s death until today, has kept her word: she prefers silence.
Symbolic bequests to Teresa added by hand on the official document
“I bequeath to my daughter Teresa my Trameleuc guitar, the Leonardo Da Vinci watch, and the gold ring with the initials F and G of my father. I recommend that she only move the watch hands forward, so as not to break it.” In the words that Francesco Guccini asked to add by hand, at the end of his will, there is an ancient care that is impossible (the Maestro will not mind) not to associate with the verses of ’Il pensionato’, the melancholic song dedicated to his neighbor. Here, then, are his everyday objects. A ring given to him by his father, with his grandfather’s initials. A wall clock to be wound by hand to hear again “that ticking alarm / that emphasizes every second.” And then his guitar. A Trameleuc that, at the insistence of his guitarist Flaco, the Maestro bought in Parma at the end of the ’80s, giving in exchange the second-hand Ovation taken in the ’70s. And here the singer-songwriter, at the point of death, contradicts himself. Because in the ‘almost autobiography’ of 2010, listing his six guitars, he specified: “I did not list them in order of preference: guitars, if I may use the comparison, are a bit like the favorites of a harem…”. And yet the last thought went to her. Evidently the favorite.
