Rimini, August 29, 2026 – The daughter’s relationship with a non-Muslim boy would have been unacceptable to the parents. So much so that, according to the prosecution, they repeatedly tried to bring the twenty-year-old back home, even turning the pressure into threats and alleged harassment. Father and mother, 44 and 47 years old, of Macedonian origin, are now under investigation by the Rimini Prosecutor’s Office for stalking and threats.

The daughter’s decision to move
The young woman had decided to suddenly leave the family home and move in with her boyfriend, also twenty years old. At the root of the break would also have been the difficult relationship with the religious rules of the family of origin, which the girl did not share.
The intimidation and threats
From that moment, according to what was reported, the two young people would have become recipients of messages and intimidations almost daily. “I can find you even if you go to the moon,” it was written to the girl. And again: “If you don’t come back home, you will have a hellish life”.
The pressure would have become such as to cause in the couple a growing state of fear, pushing both to turn to the Rimini Police Headquarters.

The parents sneaked into the young couple’s house
The heaviest episode contested to the parents would date back to last May. The two would have managed to enter unnoticed into the condominium where the daughter lives, waiting for the couple’s return. Once they met the young people, they would have tried to attack them with kicks and punches.
The twenty-year-olds would have managed to escape the attack, taking refuge in the apartment and barricading themselves inside before calling the police.
The Rimini Prosecutor’s Office has opened a file on the case. The investigations, coordinated by public prosecutor Davide Ercolani, will now have to verify the accusations made against the two parents, investigated for stalking and threats.
