Macerata, August 2, 2026 – Motorcyclist collides with a roe deer and dies instantly: tragedy in the Macerata area. The road accident occurred in Visso (Macerata), the victim was 46 years old. According to an initial reconstruction, the man was riding his motorcycle when he collided with the animal: the accident cost him his life. From what has been learned, at the height of a curve he would have hit a roe deer that was crossing the road, ending up losing control of the motorcycle and violently crashing against a tree. It happened on Provincial Road 134 towards Castelsantangelo sul Nera. The man was accompanied by two other motorcyclists, who raised the alarm. The man, born in 1980, died instantly and the medical personnel who intervened could do nothing but confirm his death. In addition to the emergency services, the Visso carabinieri and the Macerata Fire Brigade also intervened. The hit roe deer also died.
