Bologna, July 26, 2026 – Clashes in Val Susa at the No Tav construction site, two police officers from the Bologna Mobile Unit among the injured. Following the assault by five hundred hooded individuals on the San Didero work area, protected and cordoned off yesterday by the police, the number of injured anti-riot officers is high: in fact, there are about sixty operators. Colleagues operated with professional professionalism and respect for the rules of engagement, managing to contain the violent fringe.” Sap also intervenes, with general secretary Stefano Paoloni: “One cannot speak of “dissent” in the face of premeditated aggressions and the use of improvised weapons against women and men in uniform. We demand firmness and concrete protection for those who risk their lives to ensure everyone’s safety.”

The comment from Fsp Polizia Bologna was also harsh, with general secretary Oscar Regnaud Carcas and deputy secretary and Mobile Unit representative Matteo Di Vincenzo: “The malice and violence deployed against the police and law enforcement are unprecedented. And even more serious is the climate of delegitimization that too often accompanies these attacks. We cannot and must not wait for someone to die to understand the gravity of what is happening.”
