The live show, awaited as a rescheduling of the summer date postponed due to bad weather on July 15, turned into a true popular festival, confirming the historic and unbreakable bond between the band founded by Augusto Daolio and Beppe Carletti and the Reggio land.

Opening the event was a phrase “give peace a chance” and the rainbow flag accompanying the first song “Contro,” with lyrics from 1993 that mention opposition to “rifles, tanks, bombs, racism and all intolerance.”

In front of a crowd of 2,500 people – the maximum allowed for safety reasons – who filled every corner of the central square, the longest-running Italian group gave over two hours of music, memories, and social commitment, uniting the different generations present among the audience.

The concert started with the driving notes of their great classics ten years after the last live album, on September 19, 2025, with the band returning with “Nomadi live at Teatro dal Verme,” a work that is not just a simple record release but a tribute to the dimension that has always been the soul of Nomadi: the live performance.

The band

On stage, besides Beppe Carletti, tireless leader on keyboards, accordion, and backing vocals since 1963, were also Cico Falzone (guitars and backing vocals, since 1990), Massimo Vecchi (bass, vocals, since 1998), Sergio Reggioli (violin, vocals, since 1998), Yuri Cilloni (vocals, since 2017) and Domenico Inguaggiato (drums, since 2023). The most intense moments of the evening saw the square united in a single great chorus to the notes of immortal songs such as Io vagabondo, Dio è morto, and Un pugno di sabbia. There were also pieces taken from the most recent albums and the usual dedications to the historic fan clubs, whose banners colored the barriers under the stage.

The live was free entry

The event, free entry, was held respecting the measures imposed by the Municipality and the police forces, including access controls and temporary bans on the sale of beverages in glass. A reserved area for people with disabilities was set up under the stage, allowing all fans to fully enjoy the show without barriers.

With the closing of this date, the Live Tour 2026 of the Nomadi once again shows that their “people” never stop traveling and singing. The Reggio stop was not just a musical performance but a demonstration that, after more than sixty years of career, Nomadi’s music continues to be the soundtrack of an entire community.
