Ravenna, August 3, 2026 – Terrifying head-on collision between a car and a truck before dawn today on the Romea state road, near Marina Romea. Four people were injured, including three 18-year-olds who were traveling in the car. One of them was taken in critical condition to the ‘Bufalini’ hospital in Cesena. Another young man and the truck driver, a 62-year-old, were transported with moderate injuries to Santa Maria delle Croci in Ravenna. The car driver, on the other hand, was slightly injured.
Terrifying crash before dawn at Marina Romea
It was just after 4 a.m. today when the call to 118 arrived for a head-on collision between a Mini Cooper, carrying three eighteen-year-olds, and a truck driven by a 62-year-old, on the Romea state road near Marina Romea. Local Ravenna Police officers rushed to the scene to handle the investigations, along with the firefighters and Anas technicians.
An eighteen-year-old in critical condition
The situation appeared serious immediately with one of the 18-year-olds, resident in Milan, being transported in critical condition to the ‘Bufalini’ hospital in Cesena by helicopter ambulance that arrived from Bologna.
Moderate injuries, instead, for another Mini Cooper passenger, from Genoa, and for the truck driver, resident in Comacchio, in the Ferrara area.
