Piacenza, August 28, 2026 – Palermo is preparing to welcome Jovanotti and, while waiting for his concerts, Lorenzo Cherubini met one of the most famous figures in Italian football: Filippo Inzaghi. The Palermo coach, from Piacenza and former Bologna coach, gave the singer-songwriter a personalized rosanero jersey with the number 9 and his name, signing it for the occasion. The two then captured the moment in a photo shared on social media: “Legendary ‘Jova’, thank you for marking my life,” Inzaghi’s dedication to Jovanotti.

A meeting that combines sport and music in the name of energy and passion. Cherubini is indeed in Sicily for the Jova Summer Party, expected in Palermo with two events scheduled for August 29 and 30.
Before going on stage, Jovanotti chose to experience Sicily also through his great passion for cycling. The artist pedaled from Capo d’Orlando to Palermo, accompanied by sports figures such as Paolo Bettini and Daniele Bennati, as well as actress Marianella Bargilli.

Two wheels have always represented an important part of his life. “As a child I didn’t play football, I rode my bike with my Chiorda,” Cherubini said, also recalling his personal way of arriving at events: “I arrive by bike.” A journey through sport, music and territory that also had a special stop with the meeting with Inzaghi, a face particularly dear to the Emilia audience.
