There is time until September 18 to submit expressions of interest

And even if the projects that arrive “will not be binding,” the Municipality’s strategy is clear: to encourage the creation of maxi establishments in the name of “a true redevelopment” of the beach. The ice cream giant could invest in one of the future establishments. It is not the only name in large-scale distribution. But the maxi beach projects also appeal to investment funds: there have already been talks with some bathers. Some companies could directly participate in future concession tenders. For Vanni, “there will always be groups and entrepreneurs with more money than us and ready to step forward for the beaches. That’s why it’s important to join forces and present projects that can win the tenders and promote the true redevelopment of the beach.”
