Riccione, July 19, 2026 – Tragedy this morning on the Riccione coastline, near bathhouse 52, where a 79-year-old man from Terni died after being recovered from the sea. Desperate attempts to resuscitate him by rescuers were in vain.
The alarm was raised when the lifeguard noticed the man’s body, found face down in the water.

Hearing the calls for help, the police officers reached the indicated spot within moments.
Getting off the jet skis, they collaborated with the lifeguard to manually drag the body to the shore, where resuscitation maneuvers immediately began, continuing even after the arrival of the 118 medical personnel.
