Bologna, July 17, 2026 – Denied the request for prison leave for Fabio Savi. The second of the brothers in the gang, known as ‘Il Lungo’, 66 years old, is serving a life sentence in the Bollate prison in Milan for the crimes of the Uno Bianca.

The Milan surveillance court considers that there are no grounds for the transfer. The hearing for the request was held at the end of June, and in recent days the denial of the permits has arrived.
This would be the second request by Fabio to obtain benefits. The Prosecutor’s Office will ask to transfer Fabio Savi elsewhere, arrested in ’94 and detained since 2018 in Bollate.
The brother Roberto transferred to Ferrara
Roberto, the elder of the Savi brothers and leader of the gang, was instead transferred from Bollate to Ferrara a couple of weeks ago. The gang spread terror in Marche and Emilia-Romagna for seven and a half years, between 1987 and 1984, leaving a long trail of blood behind: 23 dead and over 100 injured in 102 criminal actions. In what is considered the largest widespread massacre in Italy.
