Ferrara, June 5, 2026 – Roar, frenzy and enthusiasm: the first of Vasco’s two concerts has begun at Parco Bassani. After much anticipation, the Kom people, who arrived from everywhere, can enjoy the great show. “You’ll see some beautiful things,” Blasco said before starting, and shortly after, on Instagram, the announcement about the Vasco Jubilee. It will be held in Rome and will involve over 500,000 people.

Today the gates opened half an hour earlier than scheduled, tomorrow the second concert. One hundred and twenty thousand attendees, double sold out for dates one and two of the tour of the rocker from Zocca (the zero date in Rimini on May 30).
A journey into the past, a present past. The power of Vasco’s songs is ageless. Everyone sings Alibi, everyone jumps with the super rock version of Sono ancora in coma.
Then here’s Ciao, sai cosa ti dico, Ciao. As evening begins to fall over the Urban Park.
“Hello Ferrara – so Vasco – hello everyone. Welcome, well arrived, well met again. We’ve passed Christmas, we’ve passed Easter too, and now our party is here.” And after Ormai è tardi, we start to soar on the notes of Fegato, fegato spappolato. “Drugs are all drugs. Power is a drug, and so there are addicts in the Government. Addicts, addicts, addicts.”
The screen suddenly lights up, here is the Komandante among his people. 8:50 PM. The show begins. It’s just us. The first of Vasco’s two big concerts in Ferrara has begun. The Kom on stage with “Vado al massimo”.
And just as the concert in Ferrara begins, the big announcement arrives on Kom’s social media: “It will be Rome, next spring, that will open the doors of its most prestigious locations for what has already been dubbed the ‘Vasco Jubilee‘. The Capital, the Eternal City, will be the heart of the celebrations dedicated to an infinite career that continues to unite generations. Among the scheduled events will also be an epochal event involving over 500,000 people. A true national celebration, made of music, memories, emotions and encounters, which will accompany the public for several months. The grand finale will arrive in June, when the celebration will move to where everything truly comes alive: under the stage, with the traditional Live with Vasco event.”
To the notes of ‘Siamo solo noi’, the announcement in a video on the big screens: “Residence Rome, 2027”. The roar of the 60,000 explodes.

The show area is overseen by an articulated health system: five ambulances along the perimeter of the area, flanked by a medical golf cart for rapid interventions in limited traffic and difficult-to-access zones. On-site operational support includes 16 foot rescue teams, uniformly distributed among the public to ensure homogeneous coverage and minimal intervention times. A dedicated team for the disabled area is present, to guarantee specific and adequate assistance to people with particular needs. Clinical coordination is ensured by two advanced medical points (PMA), set up in strategic positions within the site, capable of managing the stabilization and treatment of patients awaiting eventual hospital transport.
Activities dedicated to environmental sustainability, waste separation, and the protection of the Urban Park’s fauna also continue, with the presence of Green Angels and ENPA Zoophile Guards.
The reception, assistance, and security activities, coordinated by the Municipality of Ferrara together with Live Nation, law enforcement, Civil Protection, volunteers, and all parties involved in the organization, are fully operational. The system includes 170 cameras, 460 stewards, 100 local police officers, while the GOS (Operational Security Group) constantly monitors the progress of the event.

Francesco Colombarini and his wife Elisa are also on the lawn in front of the stage, waiting for Vasco. “It’s wonderful to have him here in our Ferrara, a great emotion,” said the former president of Spal.
Dancing at the Urban Park to the rhythm of 90s Disco. Minute by minute, ‘Bassani’ continues to fill up. Fans: “The best thing about Vasco? His strength and energy”. For many, it’s not their first concert of the rocker.
Opening the dances is Gaia Papadia, a Neapolitan talent based in Milan and winner of the Zocca festival. A multi-instrumentalist artist with a solid background in singing and performance, the singer-songwriter is preparing to launch her new record project. It was the song ‘Calm Down’ that guaranteed her the opportunity to perform on the Ferrara stage as an opening act for the Komandante’s concert.
“What’s happening in the city?”. In recent hours, Vasco Rossi’s famous song has suddenly become the question thousands of fans across Italy are asking themselves. From Milan to Naples, passing through Rome and Bologna, the face of the rocker from Zocca has appeared on various billboards posted in streets, squares, and stations.
Among the crowd, there are those who come from Rome, Tuscany, or abroad just to not miss the event, and those who play at home and arrived directly by bicycle, joking that they never thought, past 60, they would go to a Blasco concert on two wheels.
For many of them, it’s not their first time; some boast a dozen concerts already, and others have followed him forever, but the emotion remains the same. When asked what Vasco represents, fans have no doubts: “He is our history, he has the ability to enter each of our lives.” Vasco in one word? “He’s God – replies a boy – Immense, echoes another.” And beyond the music, what makes these evenings magical is precisely the atmosphere: that unmistakable mix of friendship, sharing, and happiness that only the Komandante’s people know how to create while waiting for the stage lights to come on.
Vasco’s people are slowly filling the Urban Park for the first of the two concert event evenings. Among them are Filippo and Riccardo from Cittadella: “Here for Vasco since 9 AM. We are ready.” Then here are Mario and Roberto from Sondrio: “A unique emotion: it will be fantastic to hear him live once again.” It’s the turn of Silvia and Carla, who arrived directly from Milan: “We’ve followed Vasco since we were children: as long as he keeps going, we’ll be there.” Banners, tickets in sight, and so much happiness: this is the spirit that the Italian rock star is managing to bring to the city, which is now ready to pour out with more than 60,000 voices for two breathtaking evenings.
They arrived from all over Italy for their idol; many are fans who slept in tents for days, undeterred by bad weather. Elisa Negrisi from Florence, a dog trainer, recounts: “I was in Rimini and then here in Ferrara in a tent. At home, I have a husband and two children aged 10 and 6. They also support me in this passion, so much so that I will follow Vasco’s entire tour around Italy. There’s also the gathering in Zocca where Vasco lives.” A short distance away is Thomas Iacovella, who arrived from Rome. “I came from the Rimini concert all the way here to Ferrara; we are all friends and met through Vasco Rossi’s concerts around Italy. I’ve been following the rocker since 2014 and I plan to do so for the dates of this tour as well.”
Here’s what the concert setlist might be, based on the one performed in Rimini. The songs should follow this order, although some changes are always possible at Blasco’s discretion. The opening is entrusted to ‘Vado al massimo’, followed by ‘Ormai è tardi’ and ‘Fegato, fegato spappolato’. Fourth is ‘Una nuova canzone per lei’ and fifth is ‘Bolle di sapone’ (click here for the full list).
“Vasco must be experienced, Vasco cannot be described – say Paolo and Sara, at their fifth Blasco concert, from Foggia -, Vasco is not told, Vasco stays inside you, in your heart and never leaves.” His people are starting to fill the Urban Park to attend the Show.
