Venice, September 9, 2026 – Martina Colombari did not go unnoticed on the red carpet of the 83rd Venice Film Festival, where the photographers’ flashes accompanied the arrival of the actress from Riccione and former Miss Italy.
Colombari graced the Lido on the occasion of the Filming Italy Venice Award, receiving the recognition as Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Buen Camino, with Checco Zalone. An award that comes at a particularly intense phase of the actress’s career, who will be back on the big screen in the coming months.
Colombari is indeed part of the cast of Se c’ero dormivo, the new film directed by Fausto Brizzi. Filming has already started in Milan and will continue in Rome, with a theatrical release scheduled for 2027. At the center of the comedy is Andrea Pucci, protagonist of a story built around a man who loses his memory and who, precisely through this condition, ends up retracing twenty years of Italian history.
The award for Buen Camino
The recognition received in Venice comes for Martina Colombari after her participation in Buen Camino, the film directed by Gennaro Nunziante, which earned her the Filming Italy Venice Award as Best Supporting Actress.
In the film, the actress plays Linda, the ex-wife of the character played by comedian Checco Zalone. The award represents a new recognition for a film career that in recent years has seen Colombari return more consistently to the big screen. And just as she collects this achievement, the actress is already engaged in a new project.
Fausto Brizzi’s new film
Colombari is indeed part of the cast of Se c’ero dormivo, the new comedy directed by Fausto Brizzi. In the film, alongside Andrea Pucci, are Enzo Paci, Vanessa Donghi, Miriam Galanti, Irene Girotti, and Noemy Forni. Brizzi thus returns to comedy with a story built around the character played by Pucci, making his debut as the absolute lead on the big screen.
The director made his debut behind the camera with Notte prima degli esami, winning the David di Donatello in 2006 as best new director. For Pucci, accustomed to large theatrical audiences, the project represents a new cinematic challenge: this time he leads the cast and the story revolves around his character.
The filming has already started in Milan and will continue in Rome, while the theatrical release is scheduled for 2027.

During her participation in Dancing with the Stars, the former Miss Italy publicly shared some of the difficulties experienced over the years with her son Achille. In particular, she spoke about the most delicate moments and the decision, in an extremely difficult situation, to call for emergency intervention and resort to a compulsory health treatment to ensure the boy’s safety.
The participation in Dancing also had a physical cost. After the TV experience ended, Colombari shared on social media that she underwent three MRIs and an ultrasound to check the consequences of the effort accumulated during the weeks of competition. “Post Dancing with the Stars, but it was worth it,” she wrote, emphasizing that she does not consider those ailments a reason for regret.
A phase that fits into a long and varied television career, marked by very different experiences and the ability to continuously reinvent herself.
