“Lepore is given according to polls in our possession below 50%, so there are grounds to send him home. In fact, I am surprised that someone still votes for him,” Bignami said yesterday. “He devastated Via Emilia, he semi-demolished the Garisenda, he did nothing for the turnstiles at the station, a field where we opened the doors for him. The reply to Valentina Castaldini
This morning the mayor’s reply to Valentina Castaldini was not long in coming: the regional councilor of Forza Italia, in fact, had pointed out that the tram infrastructure will neither be the center of the electoral debate nor, much less, the sufficient argument to guarantee victory at the polls. “In fact, I will not do election campaigning on the tram – the mayor replied – I simply carry forward the commitments of our program. I believe it would be wrong to exploit what is done, but it is right to complete the work and deliver it to the citizens.”
