It happened last Sunday morning when a patrol from the Pian del Voglio Subsection, engaged in monitoring the particularly heavy traffic due to the start of the summer exodus, was sent by the Florence Operations Center shortly after the Sasso Marconi tollbooth, heading south, where the transit of a moped had been reported.

A fine of almost one thousand euros contested by the Highway Police
The highway police officers, after explaining to him that it is forbidden to travel on the highway with a moped for safety and speed reasons, issued him violations of the Highway Code for almost one thousand euros.
